Office refurbishment, Cameron

Cameron estate agents approached MPL Interiors for an office refurbishment for their new office in West Drayton.

The premise was a large wrap-around corner site, handed to us as an empty shell. Clever space planning using 2D and 3D space plans ensured the proportions, placement of office furniture and colour scheme worked in harmony – allowing MPL to install on site with confidence.

New and fitted by MPL were two glass walled meeting rooms, a four-screen media display recessed into a slate-effect feature wall, a large framed and illuminated flex face artwork, and low-profile LED window display pockets.
Freshly painted white walls provide the perfect backdrop for splashes of colour directly influenced by the Cameron logo, which features coloured squares in orange, yellow, green and blue.

Personalising the office are customised modesty panels for the desks, with added internal lighting so the office has an ethereal glow after dark, a number of wall mounted and illuminated 3D logos, logo-matched occasional and office chairs (including modular reception seating in powder blue), low-profile storage units and window display pockets clad to the rear in a wood-effect laminate to match the floor.
This office has a real flow to the space and MPL has sought to enhance this with the flooring arrangement and desk shapes. Curved lines have used to section off areas of the floor, using either carpet or wood-effect flooring.

This is mirrored by the use of curve-fronted desks and a circular drop feature ceiling in one section of the office, which has been illuminated for an added sense of drama.

The Cameron office refurbishment and fit out also included air con, a new fitted kitchen, new wall tiling to washrooms and in the kitchen, cosmetic decoration throughout, power and light provision, and utility and data supplies.
