When Soho-based publishers Gruner + Jahr secured a new Central London office, it already knew any workplace design had to accommodate its specific workflow and team dynamics. We are asked to ensure correct departments were seated together, so our designers created an office space
design in close collaboration with the publisher’s employees. The use of cluster-style desks allowed for better engagement and used the available floorspace efficiently. As well as open plan areas, we created a private meeting room using existing outside walls and an internal glass wall. To add
interest and a sense of privacy, we applied a digital print of flags Gruner + Jahr uses in its marketing on the glass panes. This commercial fit out also included new flooring throughout, electrics, decoration, lighting, new office desks and new office chairs.
