A high profile address set between Old Street and Angel in the heart of London's financial district. The agency turned to architect Danny Shafrir and MPL Interiors to create a unique office with an industrial theme.
MPL Interiors was charged with creating an unusual set of property display units, taking inspiration from old mangles. The design team worked with untreated steel and LED light panels to create the floor mounted designs, complete with a traditional wheel-style handly feature. Continuing the mangle theme, MPL Interiors also created a ceiling mounted LED lit A1 display pocket in untreated steel, which allows Hurford Salvi Carr to display posters and marketing messages.
The other major facet installed by MPL was a nine-screen media wall. This is a very important aspect of the design as the corner office features large expanses of glass with minimal property displays, so the media wall is one of the primary ways for Hurford Salvi Carr to communicate with clients and display properties - whether that's during opening hours or after close of business.
Elsewhere, MPL Interiors created two bespoke ceiling-mounted light-box signs and applied a printed vinyl map to one of the vast windows.
David Salvi, a Director at the agency, commented: "I would like to thank everyone at MPL for the professional way you worked with Hurford Salvi Carr and our architects to create what is a truly unique window display for our new Shoreditch and Islington office at City Road. Working on new ideas require a combination of determination and patience to make sure that the finished product is as good as it can possible be and I am delighted that all the small changes that we worked through have come together to produce a great working environment for our new office."
