MPL Interiors was excited to be involved in CBRE’s move to a brand new headquarters in Henrietta House, Central London. The commercial specialist was moving into a seven floor building in W1, and wanted to set up a brand new residential arm on the ground floor to showcase is growing residential property business. The office interior design had to reflect the company branding used on the upper floors but
needed to include internal and public-facing elements uniquely found in the estate agency industry. Our space planning navigated a very tight footprint and our plan included installing a mezzanine floor with a new staircase to accommodate the specified number of staff. Elements of this office fit out included filing and storage hidden behind glass doors, which were customised with CBRE green vinyl; a soft
seating area with flush fit TV screen; a cable hung LED property display system; a 3D CBRE wall logo, a bespoke reception counter with hidden storage and internal illumination; glass balustrading to the mezzanine level, treated with colour-matched vinyl, and porcelain floor tiles, which were taken up the front of the reception counter to add a seamless, glossy finish.
