A substantial 5,000 square foot corner office fit out, with an all-glass facade and unusual structural columns.

Our office fit out project for estate agent Gibson Lane in Kingston resulted in one of our most stunning offices to date. The site of the new branch enjoyed a corner position, directly opposite the agent's existing office - with the move designed to give them more exposure and prominence. The client wanted both sides of the premise to be in floor-to-ceiling wall-to-wall glass, which meant the office layout and interior design had to be first class as it would be on display
24/7. Part of the brief was to ensure that no employee sat at a desk with his back to the glass, so MPL’s design team used clever space planning and office desk positions to ensure all staff faced outwards. Another aspect we had to work around was the requirement that all office signage had to be mounted inside the branch and not externally. This was achieved by installing a new ceiling with a dropped feature that sat just within the office perimeter. This created
a bulkhead that we painted a corporate shade of blue and attached signage to. The feature ceiling also has blue LED strip lighting running within the perimeter for a striking feature that draws attention by day and by night. The refurbishment was completed by a customised wall map and a number of 3D wall art logo panels.
