MPL Interiors is building a reputation for its ‘concept' work - where we create a fresh new look for a business using interior design, exterior signage and window displays. This ‘concept’ service was used by Jackson, a large privately owned estate agency network in London. It wanted a new blueprint office designed and installed at its Streatham branch - a shop fit out style that would eventually be carried over into all its
branches. MPLs longevity in the office design market gave us an advantage, as we had already refurbished the space once before when it was a branch of Bushells. With a floor plan already in our archive, we set about using a clever space plan to place bespoke office desks and one large curved workstation to seat four members of staff. We installed a hidden storage area to hide printers and photocopiers, created a private
client area with the use of bespoke timber slat feature partitions, added soft seating and installed dropped feature lights over the coffee tables. To reflect the Jacksons corporate branding, we used different colour acrylics to create the unique and one off window displays of various sizes. Finally we also created the client its own wall paper using its brand identity design, and this was applied to the rear wall.
