This 12 week estate agents refurbishment in 2009 was ground-breaking at the time as it was one of the first design-led offices in the property industry. The starting point was doubling the footprint at the Bow branch, with MPL Interiors incorporating the former off license unit next door, which Keatons acquired as part of its expansion plans. This modern and forward-thinking layout design
put the consumer at the heart of the office fit out. The layout design features a maximised client area with a large soft seating arrangement, with artwork on the walls and a substantial ‘meet and greet’ bespoke reception counter with integrated drinks units. The staff were relocated to the rear of the office, partitioned from the reception area with toughened glass panels on
bespoke cluster-style office desk systems. This allowed us to maximise staff numbers whilst creating a large welcoming reception area. The client was unique in the fact it didn’t want window displays. Instead, Keatons invested heavily in digital screens that displayed content such as marketing material as well as property details.
