MPL Interiors was asked by returning client Mayhews to refurbish and rebrand a new corner-set premises in Horley, on the Sussex/Surrey border. The new branch was adjacent to Mayhews’ existing office, and the estate agency wanted to create a seamlessly merged exterior while keeping the two offices separate internally.
We replicated the existing exterior signage and created an internally illuminated sign to go above the new corner-set front door. A new window display was installed, featuring a public-facing touch screen and a mix of cable-hung and floor-mounted LED display pockets.
The interior brief was to closely match with the existing office, using the same branding and colour scheme. New office desks, wall cladding, flooring and lampshades were colour matched to a set of walnut-effect storage units, with the dark brown broken up by splashes of green.
Bespoke furniture included a curved reception desk and personalised acrylic modesty panels with internal illumination. A custom-tinted wall map, a 3D stud-mounted Mayhews wall logo in lime green, 3D letter wall art, a custom-printed team photo canvass and a branded welcome mat formed part of the corporate identity branding package.
To finish the project, we made a frosted glass screen to hide the photocopier and stationary area, and fully furnished a private meeting room, adding a full width, full height photo graphic to one wall.
