When it comes to corporate identity design and the overhaul of company branding, our advice is to always implement as many changes as possible at the same time. This is to ensure an instant transition - one that will not fragment or devalue a brand, or confuse clients. This was the case for estate agent Peter James - a longstanding client of ours embarking on a new chapter in its business history. The company had commissioned new branding and a new website, and
therefore wanted its branches to reflect the new livery and feel. We were asked to create a concept look for its network of offices, starting at the Lee Green branch. We concentrated on a much lighter design than seen in previous offices, with a lighter, brighter colour palette. The Peter James corporate blue was used in dashes as an accent colour on items such as office seating and wall art. A unique feature within this branch were timber slatted walls running
up two areas, so we installed a recessed map that was lit by LED lights around the periphery to create even more of a focal point. This project also comprised a bespoke ceiling feature with LED lighting around the edge, all new flooring, new office desks and office seating, new display systems and outdoor signage. MPL has also refurbished a tattoo parlour next door to this branch to make the office even bigger.
