Adding layers of interest
We personalised the office with soft textiles and bespoke features. An on-trend botanical theme was brought in to add colour, with tropical print scatter cushions, cacti plants and palm print wallpaper. The brick walls are adorned by a custom-made road sign and a bespoke acrylic panel map to ground the office in the local community. Subtle space divisions were achieved with a half solid, half glass partition installed to create a private meeting room, and a semi-open room divider screens off the printer area and create additional storage.
Creating a remarkable reception area
We used design details to mark out a zone especially for visitors, customizing the wood-effect vinyl flooring by adding in contrasting hexagonal and mirroring the curve they created with a wood slat feature ceiling directly above. The reception area also has a new false wall that’s clad in concrete paneling and accommodates a recessed screen.
Additional aspects
Our remit also included utility provisions, the supply of new office furniture, the installation of a communal kitchen, the creation of two cloakrooms, new illuminated external signage, supply and fit of cable-strung LED display pockets and the repositioning of the front door within the all-new glass façade.
