The Dexters Group

The brief

Our extensive estate agency office refurbishment work for The Dexters Group can be split into three distinct briefs: refurbish a number of Dexters offices so they have a cohesive design and fresh aesthetic: rebrand a number of Fletchers, Snellers and RSK branches with a new ‘London look’ and fit out a new headquarters for The Dexters Group in Teddington.

Our approach

With over 35 offices in central London alone, The Dexters Group asked MPL Interiors to standardise a number of Dexters branches – its original estate agency branch. A strong corporate livery, with a focus on the Dexters blue against a white background, is the uniting theme. The very crisp look has involved new floor coverings, office furniture, illuminated wall art and the replacement of external signage.

Getting the London look

The Dexters Group acquisition activity meant a number of existing agencies were to be brought into the fold. While Snellers, Fletchers and RSK were to keep their trading names, MPL was asked to unify the interiors and exteriors, for which we developed a common ‘London look’.

All the aesthetic elements of several branches were refreshed – logos and all signage replaced, a thorough redecoration for a clean feel, new window displays and additional bespoke elements that are customised for every branch – such as oversized photographs and local area maps.

Headquarters as well as on the High Street

The Dexters Group also asked MPL to undertake the refitting and refurbishment of a new 5,000 square foot headquarters in Teddington. With a growing workforce, the client wanted to consolidate two separate offices to bring more than 60 IT, accounts and property management staff under one roof. Our five week project encompassed a ‘making good’ first fix phase, space planning, new floor coverings, new office furniture and decorative touches, such as the vinyl London skyline decal.
