After advising 100s of clients on office refurbishment and rebranding matters, MPL takes its own advice with a trio of new looks.

MPL Interiors has unveiled three new business improvements to kick off 2019, with a relaunched website, a refurbished office, and a refreshed logo. After creating new identities and workplaces for so many clients, we felt inspired and put our in-house knowledge and skills to good use. Here’s a summary of the changes:-

Office refurbishment

We are always educating our clients on the importance of good commercial office design in terms of productivity and efficiency, and we embraced this way of thinking when refurbishing our own office in Weybridge. We kept our open plan arrangement as this suits our collaborative working style but we re-planned the desk layout and added new breakout areas, ‘huddle’ end desks and standing meeting tables. Our personal highlight is a new ‘design and resource zone’ where our team can browse samples housed in our bespoke library, discuss details around a sit-stand desk and sketch ideas on our innovative writing wall. Our boardroom also had a makeover and we treated the office to new floor coverings throughout, switched to LED lighting, repainted, installed a bespoke picture wall and added new wall art.

Rebooted website

Our website is our shop front so we went back to the drawing board with our web partner, Starberry, to create a site bursting with inspirational images and videos. Just like a good refurbishment, our new website is a blend of eye-pleasing aesthetics and functionality, with a simplified navigational structure and a sense of fun in our ‘About’ section. New logo

MPL Interiors has had a distinctive logo and colour palette since the early 1990s but like fashion, styles change. Our graphic designer, Dan Summers, was tasked with taking our existing logo and putting a contemporary spin on the design – one that was fresh but still instantly recognisable.
